An American Airlines flight from San Francisco to Los Angeles was diverted on Friday morning to Mineta San Jose International Airport due to a mechanical issue, according to a spokesperson for the airlines.

American Airlines Flight 169 had departed from San Francisco International Airport at 5:57 a.m. en route to Los Angeles International Airport when the captain got an indication of a pressurization issue, spokesperson Matt Miller said.

The captain elected to land in San Jose.

The aircraft, Boeing 737 was at the gate at 6:42 a.m., with six crew members and 159 passengers on board. No one was injured.

As of around 9:45 a.m., a maintenance team was still working on the problem. The plane was scheduled to resume its flight at 10:00 a.m., according to Miller.
